This is a great way for students to learn fundamentals of programming and robotics engineering with LEGO’s programmable EV3 or Spike Prime robotics systems, using motors, sensors and Mindstorms coding software. Students can work alone or in pairs. Once students accomplish required tasks and simpler challenges, they can choose from higher level challenges or build a more complex robot of their own design or one provided by the instructors. Students will have the 2024 FIRST LEGO League challenge field to solve missions, experiment with their own robot design ideas and develop their programming skills. This topic is especially good for students wanting to gain skills for a FIRST LEGO League (FLL) or FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team.
