Description

Students design, build and program robots, alone or with a partner, using LEGO EV3 or Spike Prime. Students will be able to solve missions on The 2025-26 FIRST LEGO League competition table will be available to visualize exciting challenges for robot design and programming to solve the missions and score points. During the week, students will learn about different levels of FIRST robotics leagues, how teams are organized, and videos of actual competitions. A Battle Bots competition will he held at the end of the week for campers to test their own ideas for design and programming for the best strategy. Coding is done using the visual, block programming language Scratch. This topic is especially good for students wanting to gain skills for a FIRST LEGO League (FLL) or FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team, or who want to begin learning a new language and have a fun way to apply it.

No experience with robotics or coding is needed for this camp.
